Fundraising Benefit
The Benefit will be held on July 20, 2019 at Osceola Heritage Park, 1875 Silver Spur Ln, Kissimmee, FL 34744 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Ticket price: $35 per person Table of 8: $280. Table of 10: $350. Please pay before July 10, above, or call 407-479-6635. If paying by check or money order, make it out to: Tara R. Jacobs Brown Scholarship Foundation Inc. and mail to: P. O. Box 22372, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830.
Proceeds go to benefit the Tara Jacobs Brown Scholarship Foundation. Cash Bar and Happy Hour start at 6:00 pm. Buffet style Dinner at 7:00 pm. There will be numerous Great Prizes and Giveaways! Donations for the dinner can be paid above. Thank you in advance for your generous support! Please feel free to make a donation even if not attending the event!
Special Flag Ceremony
In addition to honoring USAF Master Sergeant Tara R. Jacobs Brown, we will also pay tribute to other Local Fallen Heroes. This event is intended to bring our great community together with local business people, Gold Star families, veterans, first responders, and legislators. We want our families and friends in this wonderful community to know that their loved ones’ service and sacrifice is remembered and appreciated.
USAF Master Sergeant Tara R. Jacobs Brown
On April 27, 2011, Master Sergeant Tara Jacobs Brown and eight of her brothers in arms were unexpectedly killed in action in a surprise attack at NATO Training Command in Afghanistan. Tara was very highly regarded by all who knew her. While in full time service, she also studied to earn two degrees. Tara’s legacy is carried on by this foundation’s fundraising efforts to award need/merit graduating high school seniors with scholarships in Tara’s name.
